The CatClamp catalytic converter lock is a security device that clamps on either end of the CAT with alloy steel or stainless steel clamps dependent on the model. It has 40 feet of high grade aircraft steel cabling which cages the cat and loops around the chassis up to 7 times creating a rattle proof cage and locking the converter to the chassis of the vehicle.

Why are catalytic converters being stolen?
Original equipment converters utilise Platinum, Palladium and Rhodium to create the catalyst reaction required by law to clean the vehicles toxic emissions to an acceptable level. Metal prices have continually risen over the past few years making the small traces of these precious metals in the CAT attractive to thieves.
